Eligibility Criteria for MITS ME & MTech Admission 2021
- M. Tech in Chemical Engineering [Full Time]:B.E./ B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering /Chemical Technology/Petro Chemical Engineering /Polymer/Food Technology with minimum of 55% marks or AMIE with equivalent grade.
- M.E. Construction Technology & Management [Full Time]: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering/Construction Technology and Management with minimum of 55% marks or AMIE with equivalent grade.
- M.Tech. Environmental Engineering [Full Time]: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 55% marks or AMIE with equivalent grade.
- M. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering [Full Time]: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering /Information Technology with minimum of 55% marks or AMIE with equivalent grade.
- M. Tech in Information Technology [Full Time]: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology with minimum of55% marks or AMIE with equivalent grade

- M.E. Measurement & Controls [Full Time]: B.E./ B.Tech. in Electrical Eng. /Electronics/Electrical & Electronics Eng. /Electronics & Instrumentation/Instrumentation Engineering/ Biomedical Eng. /Biomedical Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks or AMIE with equivalent grade.
- M.E. Communication Control & Networking [Full Time]: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering / Information Technology with minimum of 55 % marks or AMIE or AMIETE with equivalent grade.
- M. Tech. Electronics &Communication Eng. (Microwave Eng.) [Full Time]: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics with minimum of55% marks or AMIE or AMIETE with equivalent grade.
- M. Tech. Production Engineering [Full Time]: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering /Industrial & Production Engineering /Industrial Engineering / Metallurgy with minimum 55%.
- M. Tech. Product Design [Full Time]: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Design /Architecture (B.E./B.Tech.)/ B.Des./B.Arch.) or equivalent degree with minimum 55% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) or equivalent Grade Short-listing will be done based on a valid GATE / CEED score.
- MUP – Masters in Urban Planning [Full Time]:Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Environmental Engineering or equivalent, or Masters Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Management or Geography or Economics or Sociology from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum55% marks or equivalent grade.
Note: Candidate belonging to SC/ST Category will get relaxation of 10% marks in the Qualifying Examination

- Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website https://mitwpu.edu.in & https://admissions.mitwpu.edu.in/
- The candidates are desirous to seek admission to be required to apply on the prescribed form online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
- Read all instructions regarding filling up online forms, and admission to the courses are detailed before filling up the application form available on the official website.
Application Fee
- Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs.1500/- for General candidates and Rs.1000/-for SC/ST candidate online
- The application fee can be paid through Debit card/credit card/Net banking
