CMAT 2024 Registration

The CMAT 2024 Application form is open now and will close on 18 April, 2024 (upto 09:50 P.M.).  The CMAT 2024 Application form is available in online mode only. 

How to complete the CMAT 2024 Registration?

To successfully complete the CMAT 2024 registration adhere to these guidelines: 

 

STEP 1: Registration for CMAT 2024

• Access the CMAT-NTA website using a new web browser.
• Click on the ‘registration link for CMAT 2024.’
• The registration page for CMAT 2024 will open.
• Enter your information, including your full name, date of birth, city, email ID, password, and mobile phone number.
• Input the OTP (One-Time Password) received on your mobile number and click ‘submit.’
• A 12-digit application number will be generated.

STEP 2: Complete the CMAT 2024 Application Form

• Log in again using your CMAT 2024 application number and password.
• Fill in your academic details within the CMAT 2024 application form.
• Provide your personal information and choose your preferred test cities.
• Review the information entered and make edits if necessary.
• Submit your CMAT 2024 application.

 

STEP 3: Upload Required Documents

After completing the CMAT application form for 2024, upload the following documents: a passport-size photograph, your signature, and a PwD (Persons with Disabilities) certificate if applicable. The document specifications are as follows:

• Passport-size photograph: 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format.
• Scanned signature: 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG/JPEG format.
• PwD certificate: 50 kb to 300 kb in JPG/JPEG format.

STEP 4: Payment of CMAT 2024 Application Fee

The application fee can be paid online through SBI/HDFC banking services using methods like debit/credit cards, net banking, and UPI/PAYTM services.

• For Executive PGDM: Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in any field and have a minimum of five years of professional work experience.
• For PGCM (Post Graduate Certificate in Management): A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is the basic requirement.
• For MBA and PGDM: Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any field to be eligible.

The CMAT 2024 exam pattern is structured as a computer-based test (CBT) that spans a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes). The medium of the CMAT 2024 paper is English. Each question in the exam is worth 4 marks, and for each correct response, a candidate receives 4 marks. However, if a candidate’s response is incorrect, 1 mark is deducted from the total score. Questions that go unanswered or are unattempted will not receive any marks or deduction. Candidates are required to select a single option as the correct answer for each question.

Following the challenge process of the Answer Key, in instances where there are multiple correct options or a change in the key, marks will be awarded only to those candidates who initially answered it correctly based on the revised Answer Key. If a question is excluded due to a technical error, full marks will be granted to all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted the question or not.

 

CMAT 2024 Exam Pattern- Negative Marking

The CMAT 2024 Exam contains negative marking with 1 mark being deducted for every incorrect answer given by the candidate in the exam. On the other hand the candidate is awarded with 4 marks for every correct answer.

There is no provision for rechecking, re-evaluation, or re-totaling of scores, and no inquiries on this matter will be addressed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting the CMAT 2024 and providing the CMAT Score 2024. 

For tie-breaking purposes:

• A National Merit Ranking (All India Rank) is determined based on the total score.
• Candidates with the same score will be ranked chronologically according to their date of birth.
• If multiple candidates have the same score, they will be given the same Merit ranking, with the next ranking increased by one. For example, if two candidates share Merit 2, the next candidate will receive Merit 4, not Merit 3.

• Reporting Time: Arrive at the examination center well before the reporting time mentioned on your CMAT admit card. Latecomers may not be allowed to take the exam.
• Admit Card: Carry a printed copy of your CMAT 2024 admit card along with a valid photo ID (original and photocopy). The admit card must include a recent passport-sized photograph, which should match your appearance on the exam day.
• Valid IDs: Accepted photo IDs may include Aadhar card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN card, Driving license, or any other government-issued photo ID. Check the official CMAT website for the latest updates on acceptable IDs.
• Prohibited Items: Do not bring any prohibited items to the exam center, such as electronic devices, study material, bags, notes, watches, or any items other than your admit card, ID, and essential stationery. Such items are not allowed inside the exam hall.
