SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2024
About SRMJEEE 2024 Exam
- The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE 2024) will be conducted by SRM University for admission to undergraduate engineering (B.Tech ) programs. The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination will be held on the First or Second week of April 2024 in 132 Test Centres and 05 International Test Centres at national level.
- SRMJEEE is common for all four campuses of SRMIST – Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Ghaziabad and SRM – AP, Amaravathi and SRM – Haryana, Sonepat. All Programs in Engineering of Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad campuses are approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should ensure their eligibility to apply for SRMJEEE 2024. Here we have listed down the key eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE 2024
Nationality and Age
- Resident Indians, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.
- NRls and holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India who are taking admission through SRMJEEE merit rank and counselling will get a prescribed scholarship on international tuition fees.
Age Limit
- Candidates should have attained the age of 16 on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held. Maximum age limit is 21 years.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing for Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as major subjects in the full-time stream from any State Board, CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, or an A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology /Biotechnology as major subjects from any international school.
- Candidates who have completed both 10th Standard as well as 12th Standard in NIOS, are not considered for admission to any programme of SRM.
- Minimum eligibility criteria in PCM / PCB for each campus and programme posted in the official website of the respective universities.
Note
- Only those candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination in not more than 2 attempts, including an appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.

Application Process
The general application process for SRMJEEE 2024 is as follows

- SRMJEEE 2024 is mandatory for the applicant who wish to join B.Tech Programs
- Eligible candidates can apply for SRMJEEE 2024 through online mode at www.srmuniv.ac.in & https://applications.srmist.edu.in/
- The online application is for admission to B.Tech programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram and NCR), SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University – Andhra Pradesh.
- Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondences until enrolment is completed. Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.
Application Fee
- Application Form Fee is Rs.1200/ – and it is Non-Refundable
- If the candidate wishes to take SRMJEEE exam more than one time, then the applicant has to pay INR 600 for each phase
- An applicant prefers to take the entrance exam in all the three phases of SRMJEEE then he/she has to pay INR 1200+600+600.
- Mode of Payment: Online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking
Selection Process
- Candidates will be invited for a counseling session based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE (UG) 2024.
- Common counseling for Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM University Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University – AP and Sonepat Campus of SRM University – Haryana will be held at any one or multiple campuses.
- Candidates will be invited for a counseling session based on the Rank obtained in SRMJEEE.

- Marking Scheme : Each right answer carries 1 mark; No negative marking for the wrong answer

Admit Card
- The candidates have to download the admit card from the website https://applications.srmist.edu.in/
- Admit cards will only be released for the candidates who have submitted the application form on or before the last date. The Admit Card contains the important details regarding the exams like examination time, venue and instruction which candidates must follow during the examination time.
