HITSEEE 2024 – Hindustan Institute of Technology & Sciences (HITS), Chennai inviting applications for HITS Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE) 2024 for admission into B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Des Programs offered by the institute for the academic year 2024. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), formerly Hindustan College of Engineering, is a private deemed university headquartered in Chennai was founded in 1985 and was conferred the “University Status” from the University Grants Commission from the academic year 2008-09. At present, the university offers more than 100 courses at UG and PG levels in diverse streams, such as Engineering, Management, Law, Humanities, Science, and more.

Candidates must keep in mind the important dates for HITSEEE 2024 given below
- Issue of Application Form : November 29th 2023 (Wednesday)
- Last date for Entrance Exam Application : April 29th 2024 (Monday)
- Entrance Examination : May 03rd to May 10th 2024 (Friday to Friday )
- Publication of Rank List : May 13th 2024 (Monday)
- Counselling dates : May 22nd to May 29th 2024 (Wednesday to Wednesday)
- Commencement of classes : July 10th 2024 (Wednesday)
Eligibility Criteria for HITSEEE 2024
It is very essential for students to ensure their eligibility to apply for HITSEEE 2024. Here we have listed down the eligibility criteria for HITSEEE
For B.Tech Programs
- Academic Stream: An average of 50% in Plus Two/HSC/Intermediate or any equivalent examination with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any board.
- Vocational Stream: An average of 50% marks in the related subjects and vocational subjects (Theory and Practical).
- B.Tech (Bio-Technology) : A Minimum Average of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
For B. Arch. Program (5 Years)
- Candidates seeking admissions in B.Arch should have 50% marks in the examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme/HSC or any equivalent course with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any board.
- All applicants applying for B.Arch programmes should have written and secured the minimum eligible marks (as per COA Norms) in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA: www.nata.in) conducted by the Council of Architecture.
- Applicants who have a required score in JEE (Main) Paper-2 are also eligible.
For B. Des
- A minimum average of 50% in any stream in Plus Two/ HSC/ Intermediate or Any Equivalent Examination.
Age Limit
- Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2004 are eligible to apply for HITSEEE 2024.
- Note: Only Indian nationals residing in India can apply for HITSEEE 2024.

HITSEEE 2024 Exam Pattern
HITSEEE 2024 exam pattern will provide an overview of the scheme of the examination
- The questions in the entrance exam will be of Objective Type. Duration of the exam will be 60 minutes and the medium of the question paper will be in English Language only.
