Registration Process for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 begins
Indian Institute for Technology (IIT) Kanpur has begun the Registration process for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 on its official website. Candidates can apply for GATE 2023 through the official website: gate.iitk.ac.in. The last date to submit the application form is September 30 (without late fees) and October 7 (with late fees).
The GATE 2023 exam will be held on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023 in two sessions each day. It will be a fully computer-based test (CBT). The forenoon session will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the afternoon session will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Steps to Apply for GATE 2O22
- Log on to the official website of GATE 2023
- On the homepage, under the “GATE 2023 ONLINE APPLICATION” tab, click on, “Apply Online”
- Enter all the required details
- Pay the application fee and click on submit
A candidate who has completed graduation or is in the third or higher years of their course in engineering, architecture, technology, science arts, and commerce are eligible to apply for GATE 2023.
There will be a total of 29 papers in GATE 2023. Candidates may choose to appear in a maximum of two subjects. Candidates will be allowed to select the second paper only from the set paper combination list.
The papers will test the following qualities of candidates: recall comprehension application analysis and synthesis. There will be a total of 65 questions in the papers — 10 questions (general awareness) and 55 questions (subject)
