PUMEET 2023 – Panjab University invites applications for Migration Engineering Entrance Test (PUMEET) 2023 for admission to 2nd year of B.E /B.Tech Courses at Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (CCET), Chandigarh and UIET, Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Bajwara, (SSGPURC) Hoshiarpur.

  • Last date for submission of information on the website to generate Login ID and Password: 09-06-2023
  • Last date for deposit of fee through Online mode: 12-06-2023
  • Last date for uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website: 14-06-2023
  • Last date for submission of printout of form along with required documents: 16-06-2023
  • Final date by which Roll Nos. will be available online: 19-06-2023
  • Candidates who have not completed their form but have paid their requisite fee, can complete their form (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) by paying late fee of Rs. 500/-: 22-06-2023
  • Final date which Admit Card/Roll No. will be issued manually by CET-CELL to the candidates who have completed their form by paying late fee of Rs. 500/-: 22-06-2023

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who have pursued B.E. (First Year) from any Eng. Institute / University (including those already studying in eng. institutes of PU Campus (es) or its affiliated institutes) recognized by PU, Chandigarh with minimum aggregate of 60% marks and have appeared in JEE exam in previous session (JEE Main – 2020) are eligible to appear in this test.
  • Must have passed a diploma in the engineering of minimum 2-year duration after 10 + 2 from Polytechnic college/institute affiliated with the state board of technical education/university, or recognized by UGC/AICTE
  • Must have obtained/scored a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) marks as an aggregate in the Diploma Course

  • For admission to PUMEET based program being offered by CCET Sector 26, Chandigarh and UIET, SSGPURC, Hoshiarpur, candidate has to submit Admission Form at the time of counselling
  • Admission Form & Scrutiny Form will be available at https://pumeet.puchd.ac.in/

 

Application Fee

  • General Category – Rs. 2500/-
  • SC/ST/PwD – Rs. 1250/-
  • 50% concession for PU regular employees under B & C Class
  • Bank Draft Rs.20000/-

 

Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: Online Mode 
  • Duration: 1 hour and 40 min.
  • Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions
  • Total Question: 100 Questions
  • Marking Scheme: No negative marking
  • Marking Scheme: There will be 1 mark awarded for each correct answer. 1/4 marks will be deducted on every wrong answer.
