GAT 2020 exam pattern


Exam pattern for GAT 2020

The duration of the test is 2 hours. The test consists of three sections

Section-A: Numerical Data Analysis/Quantitative Analysis 40 (no of questions); 160 (marks)

Section-B: Reasoning and Intelligence 30 (no of questions); 120 (marks)

Section-C: Verbal Ability 30 (no of questions); 120 (marks)

Total: 100 (no of question); 400 (marks)

Note: i) All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions) each question has four options out of which one is correct answer. Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks. 1 mark will be deducted from the score for each wrong answer. The unanswered questions will receive nil marks

ii) GATE qualified candidates are exempted from appearing for GAT (PGT) – 2020, however they need to apply to GITAM University for admission before the last date and the candidate has to attend counselling as per the schedule

M.Pharmacy Programs GAT (PGP) – 2020

The GAT (PGP) – 2020 (Online Admission Test) is conducted for admission to the following M.Pharmacy Programmes offered at Visakhapatnam Campus
M.Pharmacy Program in (01) Pharmaceutics; (02) Pharmacology; (03) Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance; (04) Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Eligibility Criteria: Pass in B.Pharmacy from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and Score obtained in GAT (PGP) – 2019

Section-A: Pharmaceutics: 25 (no of questions); 100 (marks)

Section-B: Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance 25 (no of questions); 100 (marks)

Section-C: Pharmacology 25 (no of questions); 100 (marks)

Section-D: Pharmaceutical Chemistry 25 (no of questions); 100 (marks)

Total: 100 no of questions; 400 (marks)
