The Counselling process has started for various engineering colleges. And college choice filling is a crucial procedure during the counseling. The choice filling can be completed more efficiently by taking into account the opening and closing ranks of 2016 for the desired colleges.

IITs

JEE-Advance the examination to get into the Indian Institute of Technology Colleges was qualified by 1.98 lakh candidates in year 2016. The number of students who registered for the exam was 1,55,948 and out of this 1,47,678 actually took the test. The total of 10,575 seats were available in 23 IITs (including ISM Dhanbad).

BITS Pilani

The cut-off for Computer Science Engineering was 384 at Pilani Campus of BITS Pilani. At Goa campus the cut-off for Computer Science Engineering was 358 and at Hyderabad campus, it was 347.

 

The minimum marks required to secure a seat in BITS was 224 for B.Pharma Programme and 298 for B.E. in Chemical Engineering branch at Hyderabad Campus.
