Bharati Vidyapeeth (BVP) announces Common Entrance Test for Admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) Program 2019

BVP M.Tech Admission 2019 - Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be university) Pune invites application for admission to M.Tech Program through Entrance Test for academic session 2019-20.

ET (M.Tech.) 2019 is a ranking examination for admission to M.Tech. Post Graduate Programmes at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Eligibility Criteria for BVP M.Tech Admission 2019

  1. Common Eligibility Requirements for admission to M.Tech. Courses:
  2. One those candidates who would satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to M.Tech. courses will be considered eligible to appear for the Entrance Test, ET (M.Tech.) 2019 and subsequently for admission to that course.
  3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.

 

Requisite qualification for admission:

  1. M.Tech. (Civil-Hydraulics): The candidate should possess B.E./B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Construction Engineering / Water Resources Engineering / Construction Technology or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or AMIE (Civil) with valid GATE score.
  2. M.Tech. (Computer) / M.Tech. (IT): The candidate should possess B.E./B.Tech. degree in Computer / Information Technology or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or AMIE (Compute Engineering) with valid GATE score.
  3. M.Tech. (Chemical): The candidates should possess B.E./B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution of AMIE (Chemical Engineering) with valid GATE score.
  4. M.Tech. (Electrical-Power Systems): The candidate should possess B.E./B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch with valid GATE score.
  5. M.Tech. (Electronics-VLSI Design): The candidate should possess B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Telecommunications, Industrial Electronics or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch with valid GATE score.
  6. M.Tech. (Mechanical-CAD-CAM): The candidate should possess B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch with valid GATE score.
  7. M.Tech (Nanotechnology): The candidate should possess B.E./B.Tech degree in any Engineering discipline or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or  AMIE with valid GATE score.

 

Selection Process

  1. A candidate desirous of seeking admission to M.Tech. Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition.
  2. He/She must have appeared for the ET (M.Tech).-2019 Test (Online Test) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune, India at designated centres.
  3. The candidates whose names appear in the list prepared on the basis of mark obtained by them in ET (M.Tech.)-2019 should attend the Counselling and on-the-spot admission sessions to the various branches and courses as per their ranks in the merit list. The Counselling Sessions combined for all branches will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune, India, College of Engineering, Pune, Satara Road, Pune 411043. Mere appearance in the entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the college. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

 

Nature of Online Entrance Test

  1. All candidates desirous of taking admission for M.Tech. (Engineering) Programme must appear for ET (M.Tech)-2019.
  2. The computer based online entrance test consists of one question paper at the ET (M.Tech.)-2019 each for respective branches/courses. It will be set in English and the question paper will consists of hundred (100) multiple choice objective-type question with one correct choice. These questions will be based on the syllabus mentioned in Annexure I. The duration of the test is 3 hours. Each question carries one mark. Total marks will be 100. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers or unanswered questions chosen by the candidate.

Entrance Test Schedule and Admit Cards

  1. The computer based online entrance test ET (M.Tech) 2019 will be held on 16th June 2019 with last date of application being 30th May 2019.
  2. A link will available at the website http://bvuniversity.edu.in/ seven days prior to the date of entrance test date where the candidate will have to click on the link, login with their credentials provided and download their respective admit card of particular entrance test for which he/she applied for.
  3. The reporting time before the gate closes shall be mentioned in the admit card. The candidate must report as per the time schedule at the test venue.

  1. The "ET (M.Tech.) 2019 entrance test will be conducted through "Computer based entrance test (online)". The tests will be held in 57 centers throughout the country giving students a wide choice of test centers.

Entrance Test Fee

  1. Entrance test fee: Rs. 1700/- (non refundable)
  2. The entrance test fee shall be paid through payment gateway using internet banking made or through debit/credit card. Service charges and other taxes for transaction as applicable by bank has to be paid by the applicant.
  3. The entrance test fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates who remain absent for the entrance test will forfeit their entrance test fee.

  1. A candidate desirous of appearing for the ET (M.Tech.)-2019 entrance test is required to complete the prescribed online application form and submit to the University along with entrance test fee.
