Eligibility Criteria for Assam University B.Tech and M.Tech Admission 2021
UG (75% seats)
- B. Tech in AGE/CSE / ECE : 10+2/ Higher Secondary
UG (25% seats)
- B.Tech in AGE : 10+2/ Higher Secondary who secured 45% (40% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL) marks with science subjects only.
- B.Tech in CSE : 10+2 / Higher Secondary with aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD and 54% for OBC-NCL)
- Mandatory subjects: Physics, Mathematics and any one subject from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Statistics or Technical vocational subjects.
- Qualifying marks in each subject.
- B.Tech in ECE : 10+2 / Higher Secondary with aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD and 54% for OBC-NCL)
- Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) Qualifying marks in each subject (PCM)
UG (Lateral Entry)
- B. Tech in AGE : 10+3/10+2+2/10+2+3 Years Diploma in Agricultural Engg./ Civil Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Food Engg. or Technology discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD and 54% for OBC-NCL) marks in qualifying diploma.
- B. Tech in CSE : 10+3/10+2+2/10+2+ 3 Years Diploma in Computer Science Engg./Information Technology discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD and 54% for OBC NCL) marks in qualifying diploma.
- B. Tech in ECE : 10+3/10+2+2/10+2+ 3 Years Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engg. /Electronics & Instrumentation Engg. /Electrical & Electronics Engg. Or Technology discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD and 54% for OBC-NCL) marks in qualifying diploma.

- M.Tech. in Aquacultural Engineering under the department of AGE : PG BE/B. Tech or A.M.I.E degree in Agricultural Engg. / Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University with minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL)
- M.Tech. in Water Resource Development and Management under the department of AGE : BE/B.Tech or AMIE degree in Agricultural Engg. / Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University with minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL)

Assam University B.Tech and M.Tech Admission 2021 Application Process
- As per UGC guideline the admission process will be conducted through online mode only.
- The applicants should fill up their application form online from the official website of Assam university www.aus.ac.in. for M.Tech & B.Tech (25% and Lateral Entry).
- All matters relating to the admission such as submission of forms, fees, attachment of certificates has to be done online.
Application Fee
- For General and OBC students : Rs. 600/-
- For OBC Non Creamy Layer/ EWS Category : Rs. 500/-
- For SC/ST/PWD students : Rs. 400/-
- Mode of Payment : Through online only
Admission Process
- B. Tech. (75% Seats) (For AGE, CSE & ECE) : Candidates appearing for / possessing valid JEE score and eligibility criteria are required to apply for the B.Tech. Admissions through Central Counselling Board and Spot Counselling (if required) as per the schedule to be notified by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/ (JoSAA)/ Triguna Sen School of Technology.
- M. Tech. (For AGE, CSE & ECE) : Candidates appearing for /possessing valid Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) score and eligibility criteria are required to apply for the M.Tech. admissions through online portal.
- All shortlisted candidates will have to appear for admission test followed by personal interview at the respective departments of the Triguna Sen School of Technology
