Eligibility: Diploma Holders with relevant Branch
Candidates appearing for the final year/Semester examination can also apply. - Candidates who have already passed and / or appearing for final year / semester
examination (during April / May 2008) of the qualifying Diploma in Engineering /
Technology in the relevant branch of specialization conducted by the State Board
of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent Examination.
Application procedure: Cost of Application form: Rs.500/- for general & Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates for downloadable and at the institute’s counter.
For obtaining application form through post, the cost of application form is Rs.550/- for general & Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates
Application and Prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on requisition along with a Bank Demand Draft in favour of the "The Registrar, Anna University Coimbatore" payable at Coimbatore.
Application forms can also be downloaded from the Website www.annauniv.ac.in, Downloaded filled in application should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount.

DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME
The duration of the Programme is 3 Academic years comprising 6 semesters
MODE OF SELECTION
Merit list will be prepared as per ranking (for 100 marks) based on marks
obtained in the last two semesters (three semesters in the case of Part-
Time) of Diploma Examination.
Counselling will be conducted by Anna University Coimbatore based on the
Ranking as per the merit list.
The candidates have the choice of selecting the appropriate course based on the
qualifying degree (Refer Annexure A) and also as per the availability of the seats
at the time of counselling. The date, time and venue for counselling will be
intimated to the selected candidates. No change of date / time of counselling is
permissible. Candidates who do not attend the counselling on the specified date
and time may have to forego the claim of admission.
Special Reservations as per Government Norms (Phy. Handicapped etc.)
Completed application form along with all the enclosures should be sent to “The
