B.Tech Admission Notice -2012

Nirma University is a statutory University estd under the Gujarat State Act and recognized u/s 2(f) of the UGC Act

The Institute of Technology is constituent Institution of Nirma University which is a leading Institute offering multi-disciplinary undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D programmes having many national awards at its credit

The Institute invites applications from the candidates who have passed 12th Science examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with the minimum percentage of marks as to be decided by the Govt of Gujarat under the rules of admission and, appeared in AIEEE-2012 for admission to B.Tech Programmes

Seats: 75% seats shall be filled in by the candidates who have passed 12th Science examination from the School located in Gujarat State on the basis of merit considering equal weightage of marks obtained in AIEEE-2012 and the percentage of marks obtained in the theory of Physics, Chemistry and Maths

25% seats shall be filled in by the candidates who have passed 12th Science examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from the Schools located in India (including Gujarat state) on the basis of All India Rank of AIEEE-2012

B.Tech Programmes: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Application Procedure: Application may be made online through website www.nirmauni.ac.in along with application fee Rs 1200/- (detailed guidelines for submission of application forms are available on website)

Off-line Application Form: Off-line application forms will be available from the Admission Cell, Institute of Technology, Nirma University and also from all branches of the Kalupur Commercial Cooperative Bank in Gujarat state on all working days except Saturday between 11.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. and on Saturday between 11.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. on payment of Rs 1200/-

Applicants may also visit in person along with relevant documents to Admission Help Centre at PG Building, Nirma University to realize online application procedure
