For admission to 3-Year B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration
National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University offers full time regular 3-Year Bachelor of Science programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration for batch beginning 1st August, 2012.

Announcement of date of JEE-2012 for admission to 1st Year of3 -Year B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration for 2012-2013

Total No. of seats available on all India basis – 5700 (approx.)

National Council for Hotel Management shall hold all India Joint Entrance Examination on 28th April, 2012 (Saturday) 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. for admission to 1st Year of 3-Year B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration in the affiliated Institute of Hotel Management for the 2011-2012 academic session.

Candidate may also apply on-line through gateway payment by visiting this link or www.nchmct.org from 28th November, 2011 at 9th April, 2012.

Such applicants should download their admit card from the above mentioned website on 08th April, 2011 onwards

ABOUT  THE  B.Sc. HOSPITALITY & HOTEL ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMME 

The Bachelor of Science programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is offered jointly by the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The Three-Year programme equips students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. The programme also involves in-depth laboratory work for students to acquire required knowledge and skills standards in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping and providing managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety and Quality, Human Resource Management, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management.

NCHMCT JEE 2012 ELIGIBILITY  FOR  ADMISSION

• Eligibility :

  Pass in 12th of 10+2 or equivalent with English as one of the subjects

  Students from Science; Commerce; Humanities and other recognized streams may apply

  Students who are to appear in the 12th examination in year 2012 are also eligible to apply

• Age Limit:

  Upper age limit as on 01.07.2012: 22 years in case of General/Open/OBC (central list non-creamy layer)/PH/Kashmiri migrant candidates

  25 years in case of SC/ST category candidates

  
  
• Reservation of Seat: As per Govt. policy i.e. 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC & 3% for PH (across board) categories. One seat (supernumery) in each affiliated IHM shall be provided for Registered Kashmiri migrants subject to notification from Ministry of HRD for academic session

JEE 2012 Application Form can be down loaded from Council’s website www. nchmct org. Down Loaded Application Form duly filled should be sent by Registered Post / Speed Post only to the above given address enclosing therewith requisite fee of Rs.950/- for General/ OBC categories and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH categories through Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, payable at Noida. The down loaded Application without requisite fee shall be invalid. The last date for sending downloaded Application Form is 13th April, 2012

Admission shall be based on marks obtained by the candidate in All India (Written Test) JEE-examination to be held on 28th April, 2012. Allotment of Institute shall strictly be in order or merit & rank.
