PU LLB Entrance Test 2024 – Panjab University has released notification and invites applications for PU-LLB Entrance Exam 2024 for admission to the 3-years LLB program for the academic year 2024-25.

- Date of Availability of Prospectus and Entrance Test Form on the website http://pglaw.puchd.ac.in : 25-04-2024 (Thursday)
- Last date for submission of information on the website to generate Login ID and Password : 31-05-2024 (Friday)
- Last date for deposit of fee through Online mode : 03-06-2024 (Monday)
- Last date for uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website : 05-06-2024 (Wednesday)

- Final date by which Roll Nos.: will be available online.
- Roll number and the centre of examination will be generated and further the roll number slip is required to be downloaded from the website by the candidate using their own login and password.

- Candidates who have not completed their form but have paid their requisite fee, can complete their form (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) by paying late fee of Rs. 500/- : 21-06-2024 (Friday)

Eligibility Criteria
- The Entrance Test for Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) shall be open to all such candidates who possess the qualifications as mentioned below:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 45%* marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognized by Bar Council of India and Panjab University.
- In case a candidates having Bachelor’s degree of this University or any other University recognized by the Syndicate, through Modern Indian Languages Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script) and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit or Persian or Arabic), the aggregate of 45% marks shall be calculated by taking into account the percentage of aggregate marks that he had secured at the language examination, excluding the marks for the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together .
- * 5% concession is admissible in eligibility marks to SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates.

Online Registration Steps to Follow
- Read Prospectus carefully
- Register Online [last date for registration 31st May 2024]
- Note down your Login Id and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email Id also)
- Take print out of bank slip (bank slip can also be downloaded from account using login id and password)
Application Fee
- General Category: Rs.2520/-
- SC/ST/PwD : Rs.1260/-
Exam Pattern
- The duration of the Entrance Test will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- The Entrance Test will be of 100 marks consisting of multiple-choice questions.
- There shall be negative marking for wrong answers i.e. ¼ marks will be deducted for wrong answers and for each correct answer 1 mark is to be awarded.
- The objective type questions will be available in Hindi and Punjabi also.
- The questions will be based upon following three components:
- Current Affairs and General Knowledge – 30 Marks
- Legal Aptitude – 40 Marks
- Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English – 30 Marks
- The Entrance Test will be held on 23.06.2024 (Sunday) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at CHANDIGARH only.
