Bharati Vidyapeeth MSW Admission 2019 - Online applications are invites from the eligible candidates for Entrance Test for admission to the Post Graduate Degree Courses Master of Social Work (MSW) at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Social Science Centre, Pune for the academic year 2019 (Abhijit Kadam Institute of Management & Social Sciences, Solapur)

  1. Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Social Science Centre was established in 1981 with a view to undertake teaching, training and research in Social Sciences, Humanities and such other subjects, with emphasis in the area of Professional Social Work
  2. The college has MOUs and collaborations with national and international universities and organisations
  3. It also has faculty exchange programs as well as a welfare lab for the faculty as well as students

  1. Master of Social Work Program is of 100 credits which is to be completed in a minimum of two years
  2. Academic Year: June to May
  3. Duration of the Program: Two years


Bharati Vidyapeeth MSW Admission 2019 Important Dates

  1. Last Date for Submission of Online Application Form: 20th June 2019 upto 05.00 pm
  2. Date of Entrance Test (Written) MSW: 23rd June 2019 (10.00 am to 12.00 pm)
  3. Date of Group Discussion: 24th June 2019 from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm
  4. Date of Personal Interview: 24th June 2019 from 11.00 am onwards
  5. Declaration of Result: 27th June 2019 after 05.00 pm
  6. Commencement of Classes: 08th July 2019

Eligibility Criteria for Bharati Vidyapeeth MSW Admission 2019

  1. Admission to MSW Program is open to graduates (12+3) of any Indian or Foreign Recognised University
  2. Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination (bachelor's degree exam) in April/May 2019 and are waiting for the results are also eligible for 1st year M.S.W.
  3. However, the admission of such students will be confirmed only after producing the original passing certificate within three months from the date of admission.


  1. The intake of admission to MSW Program is 60 at the Pune Centre & 60 (30 seats aided & 30 seats unaided) at the Solapur Centre.



  1. The Reservation rules of the Dept. of Social Welfare, Govt. of Maharashtra, is applicable for the admission to M.S.W. Program. Hence the admission will be granted as per the following reservation schedule:
  2. Open - 48 Percent, Pune Centre - 29 Seats & Solapur Centre - 29 Seats
  3. SC - 13 Percent, Pune Centre - 08 Seats & Solapur Centre - 08 Seats
  4. Open - 07 Percent, Pune Centre - 04 Seats & Solapur Centre - 04 Seats
  5. Open - 19 Percent, Pune Centre - 11 Seats & Solapur Centre - 11 Seats
  6. Open - 11 Percent, Pune Centre - 07 Seats & Solapur Centre - 07 Seats
  7. Open - 02 Percent, Pune Centre - 01 Seats & Solapur Centre - 01 Seats
  8. Total - 100 Percent, Pune Centre - 60 Seats & Solapur Centre - 60 Seats


The Fees & Other Charges

  1. The MSW Program is conducted on Grant-in-Aid-basis by the Commissionerate of Social Welfare (Govt. of Maharashtra). The total amount of fees for 1st year will be of Rs.11600/- for the students of Maharashtra domicile
  2. This includes Tuition Fees, Field Work, Library Fee, and Student Aid Fund. The students have to pay fees for Seminar/Workshops/Study Tour separately
  3. The students SC/ST/OBC/VJNT/SBC etc are not eligible for the Govt. of India scholarship


Selection of Specialization

  1. The students provisionally selected for M.S.W. Part I Class will have to undergo an Aptitude Test (50 marks)
  2. The aptitude test contains objective question paper of respective specialisation i.e. HRM & LW, URCD, FCD and personal interview taken by the Specialisation Selection Committee constituted by the Director

Bharati Vidyapeeth MSW Admission 2019 Application Process

  • A candidate desirous of appearing for the "MSW-2019" entrance test is required to complete the prescribed online application form and submit to the University along with entrance test fee
  • Application Form is available online at www.bvuniversity.edu.in
  • Candidates should strictly follow the instructions given in the website while filling up the application form online and must read the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form
  • Instructions are mentioned at 'Registration Guide' menu which is available on website. Before filling up the application form online, candidates should:
  • Create their login credential
  • Have a scanned image of their recent passport size photograph (Refer to guidelines mentioned on the Website)
  • Have a scanned image of their signature, ready before filling up the online application form
  • Read the procedure and guidelines for online payments of test fee which is to be made through Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking
