NCHM JEE Exam Pattern 2024 – Section Wise, Marking Scheme, Weightage

NCHMCT JEE Exam Pattern 2024 – NCHMCT JEE 2024 will be conducted in May 2024, tentatively. Three hours will be provided to solve the NCHMCT-JEE exam. It will be a Computer-based Test, where candidates will sit in front of a desktop and attempt the questions that appear on their screens. The NCHMCT JEE 2024 question paper will be available in English and Hindi language, with the exception of the English Language section. A total of 200 questions will be asked carrying 4 marks each.   • NCHMCT requires 5 different streams of subjects to be studied and English as a compulsory subject to be studied in the educational background.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Marking Scheme

The detailed NCHMCT JEE 2024 Marking Scheme which will be followed in the examination is mentioned below-

 

i) Each question carries 04 (four) marks.

 

ii) For each correct response, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.

 

iii) For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total

Score.

 

iv) Un-answered/un-attempted will be given Zero (0) mark.

 

v) To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as the Correct Option.

 

vi) However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.

 

vii) If none of the options is correct/Question is found to be wrong – Question to be dropped and the number of questions in the paper would stand reduced and the paper would be deemed to comprise the balance questions which are correct and percent equivalence will be established based on the remaining correct questions.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Important Instructions

 

  1. During the exam, candidates should not be in possession of any material listed in the list of prohibited material like mobile phones, bluetooth devices etc.

 

  1. All calculations/writing work are to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the centre in the Examination Room/Hall and on completion of the test candidates must hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the Room/Hall.

 

  1. The NTA will display Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the NTA website: exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of Rs. 200/- per question

challenged as processing charges. The provisional Answer Keys are likely to be displayed for two to three days. Only paid challenges made during stipulated time through key challenge link will be considered.
