What is NCHMCT JEE?
To provide exceptional education and spread the word about Hotel and Tourism, National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) was set up in 1982 for coordinating autonomous growth of the hotel and tourism sector in India. NCHM introduced the Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM-JEE), a national level entrance exam for admissions to NCHM affiliated colleges offering B.Sc. courses in Hotel Management and Tourism sector. To attain education in the hotel and hospitality sector, students who have passed 12th and equivalent examinations are eligible to apply for the NCHM JEE.

NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria 2024

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Age limit: There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE as per the New Education Policy. As such, candidates of any age who fulfill the other eligibility criteria.
NCHMCT JEE 2024 Academic Qualifications: There are no minimum marks that candidates need in their qualifying exam. However, they need to fulfil the following conditions:
- Must have passed or must be appearing in 10+2 or equivalent.
- English must be a compulsory subject.
NCHMCT JEE 2024 Physical Fitness: All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format.
NCHMCT JEE Registration 2024
Step-1: Go to exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM.
Step 2: Register for Online Registration using your own Email ID and Mobile No. and note
down system generated Application Number.
This Application Number shall be used to further fill up the Application Form. Candidates must register only once.
Candidates must ensure that their email address and mobile number to be registered in their online Application Form are their own, as relevant/ important information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address and/or through SMS on registered mobile number only. NTA shall not be responsible for any non-communication/ mis-communication with a candidate in the email address or mobile number given by him/ her other than his/ her own.

Step-1: Log In
Candidates must Log In using their Application Number and Password
Step-2: Complete the Online Application Form
- Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name: Provide Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name as given in the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate in capital letters. No prefix in the name of the candidate is allowed.
- Date of Birth: dd/mm/yyyy – Provide Candidate’s date of birth as recorded in Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate.
- Fill category details
- Fill address with PIN Code (Correspondence Address as well as Permanent Address)
- Provide the choice of Cities for Examination Centres
Step-3: Upload legible scanned images
Candidates have to upload the following scanned images. Read the specifications and scan the images as mentioned to upload them.
- A recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background
- Candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb)
- PwD Certificate, if applicable (file size 50 kb-300 kb
Step-4: Pay the fee using the Payment Gateway
The payment gateway is integrated into the Online Application through Net Banking / Debit / Credit Card / UPI / Wallet/ Paytm. Candidates may select any one mode and pay the fee.
They are advised to keep proof of the fee paid safe with themselves.

Step-5: Print the Application Form
After successful completion of Step-4, the Confirmation Page of the Application Form should be downloaded. Take the printout of the same for future reference.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form could be generated only after successful payment by the candidate.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Exam Pattern
Important details of the NCHMCT JEE Exam Pattern is given below.
- Mode of Examination – National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam will be held online (Computer-based test). The question paper is bilingual, i.e., all questions are available in both Hindi and English, except the English section.
- Marking Scheme – The paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions, and each carries four marks. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrongly answered question.
- Time Duration – The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours.

NCHMCT JEE Result 2024
Cut-off marks are the minimum qualifying marks you must score to be shortlisted for the NCHMCT JEE exam. NTA will release the NCHMCT JEE Cut-Off after the declaration of results.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Counselling
After NCHMCT JEE Results are out, the NTA will announce the counselling schedule for JEE and Non-JEE candidates. The candidates who do not appear for JEE can opt for other courses in IHMs like Food Production Course, Culinary Arts etc.
The NCHMCT JEE 2024 counselling registration can be done at nchmcounselling.nic.in .The NCHMCT JEE seat allotment will be done in four rounds. Seats are allotted to aspirants on the basis of their NCHMCT JEE rank, category and choice of institutes. The online NCHMCT JEE 2024 counselling process will include registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, payment and uploading of documents to confirm the seat.

The NCHMCT JEE cutoff refers to the range of ranks, known as opening and closing ranks, determined during the NCHMCT JEE counselling rounds.
Following the announcement of the NCHMCT JEE Result 2024, the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) will soon release the NCHMCT JEE 2024 Cut-off. This cutoff will provide the NCHMCT JEE opening and closing ranks for 75 institutes.

There are many other colleges, such as Chandigarh University, Welcomgroup, and Servo Hospitality School, that accept admission without the NCHMCT JEE.
