Applications are invited for Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) Scholarships and KUHS Best Paper Awards for participants of KUHS-National Conference on Student’s Medical Research, which will be held at Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram on 04th and 05th December 2015

KUHS Scholarships and Best Paper Awards
To promote the culture of Research among medical students, Kerala University of Health Sciences is awarding KUHS Scholarships andKUHS Best Paper Awards for participants of KUHS-National Conference on Student’s Medical Research
The registration fee for the first 100 eligible undergraduate medical students from the affiliated institutions of KUHS will be refunded as KUHS Scholarships; the best paper presented ateach venue will receive the memento and certificate of KUHS Best Paper Award
Eligibility and Selection of KUHS Scholarship
The Researcher should be an undergraduate (MBBS) student in any of the institutions affiliated to KUHS
The Researcher should register for the conference within the stipulated time and should present the study at the conference; the co – investigators will not be eligible to apply for the Scholarship even if they have registered for the conference
A completed abstract of the Research paper must be uploaded online at www.commedtvm.com
Eligibility of the Researcher to obtain the KUHS Scholarship will be assessed by a three membered committee (Principal GMC Thiruvananthapuaram, Org. Secretary of the conference and a representative of KUHS), who’s decision will be final
Regarding KUHS Scholarship, communications other than through the website or the conference email, [email protected] will not be entertained
Eligibility and Selection of KUHS Best Paper Award:
The Researcher should be an undergraduate student or resident (House Surgeon/Post Graduate) in any of the medical colleges in India
He/she should present an original research paper at the conference of which he/she should be one of the authors
One person from every parallel sessions of the conference will beselected for best paper award by adding the overall scores, by the judging panel, in case of any tie in total scores, the candidate obtaining least single score will be eliminated
The decision of the scientific committee in case of eligibility, and the decision of the judging panel in case of evaluation, will be final
Registration Fees
Under-Graduate Students – Rs.1000/-
Post-Graduate Students – Rs.1500/-
The accompanying person, if any, may register by paying Rs.1000/- in cash, at the Registration counter, on the day of conference
