About Orange Tulip Scholarship India

  • The Orange Tulip Scholarships (OTS) gives talented students in India the opportunity to study in the Netherlands. It is offered by higher education institutions, multinationals and government institutions.
  • The level of courses included in the OTS scheme varies from one university to another. It could be just one of the Bachelor / Master / Doctoral programs. There are universities that offer OTS for Undergraduate and Master’s Programs

Eligibility Criteria for Orange Tulip Scholarship India 2021

  • Applicant must have the Indian nationality and live in India
  • Applicant must have a degree from a non-Dutch university
  • Applicant must have not previously studied or worked in the Netherlands
  • Applicants must have a very good command of English, both written and spoken. Required IELTS and TOEFL scores vary per faculty and study programme. To check your study programme language requirements, please see your programme’s webpage under the menu tab ‘Admission requirements.’
  • Applicant must have good grades, at least a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 75%
  • Applicant must have been admitted to a Master’s degree programme at Maastricht University

Orange Tulip Scholarship India 2021 Application Process

Follow the below steps to apply

Step 1

Applicants must apply for admission to Tilburg University for a one-year Master’s program (except double degree / joint programs) by March 1, 2021 and must be admitted to this program by April 1, 2021.

Step 2

Applicants must apply for the Orange Tulip Scholarship (India) via NESO India by April 1, 2021.

Step 3

Then go through the application process for the specific university.

Step 4

After confirmation from the university, begin the application process to OTS.

Step 5

Download the application form and fill in the required details.

Step 6

Send the application form along with the necessary documents  to

Selection Procedure

Step 1

NESO India will review the applications and forward applicants’ details to the Scholarship Coordinator at Tilburg University.

Step 2

The Scholarship Coordinator will coordinate the selection of scholarship recipients.

Step 3

The Scholarship Coordinator will inform all applicants of the scholarship awards by May 10, 2021. Your application status will be selected, waitlisted or rejected.

Step 4

The successful applicants must confirm acceptance of the scholarship.
