LKG Full Form, What is the Full form of LKG?

The full form of LKG is Lower Kindergarten. When children are of three or four years, they are admitted in LKG which is their first class at school. ‘Kindergarten’ is a German word which means Garden for young Children. The duration of this class is around one year. As a student of LKG children are supposed to spend three to four hours at school. Here, they are taught the basic learning activities and manners in a creative environment. LKG has an important role in the child’s growing up years because it is the time when the elders can impart basic skills to them which would last lifelong. While studying in LKG, the students are taught the basic skills such as reading, writing, speaking, manners, etc.
