IBSAT Syllabus 2024 – The IBSAT 2024 exam syllabus comprises 4 sections namely, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation.   • Verbal Ability: This section has a maximum of 50 questions and covers all key elements of the English language, including grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary use, idioms, phrases, one-word substitutions, and scrambled paragraphs.

 

  • Reading Comprehension: This section consists of 30 questions, which are based on RC passages, and are not too challenging. The difficulty level of RC passages is moderate, and RC-based questions that are directly related to the content in the passage can be tackled with some success.RC Section in IBSAT is not clubbed to Verbal Ability section.There are usually 3 RC passages followed by 8 questions each while one RC passage is followed by 6 questions.The RC passages in IBSAT have an average length of 500 to 600 words. Most questions are directly related to the RC passages and answers to them can be easily located in the RC passage itself. Some of the questions are indirect and you have to check the inference drawn from the passage.

  • Quantitative Ability: This section consists of 30 questions. The candidate’s  mathematical skills will be put to the test in this section. It is quite comprehensive and covers every area of mathematics, with an increased focus on arithmetic. The segment is only moderately challenging.
  • Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation: This section consists of 30 questions. There are two different types of inquiries in it; the first type is about data interpretation and calls for data analysis, data comparison, and data trends, while the second type is about data sufficiency.
