Govt. of Kerala Admission to Integrated Five Year LLB Course 2016-17

Government of Kerala invites applications for the Entrance Examination for Admission to Integrated Five Year LLB Course 2016-17 in the four Govt. Law Colleges of Kerala and in the Private Self-Financing Law Colleges of Kerala which have entered into seat sharing agreement with the State Govt.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will ensure that the candidates belonging to OBC and socially and economically backward classes need only 42% marks for the qualifying exam from 2016-17 for admission onwards as directed in the Govt. Order read above

Eligibility Criteria for CEE Kerala Integrated LLB 2016

Nativity: Candidate should be an Indian Citizen. The candidate should produce any one of the following documents along with the application, to prove Indian Citizenship

Academic Qualifications: Applicant should have passed the Kerala Higher Secondary Exam or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by Universities in Kerala (or); candidates should have passed 10+2 course recognised by the Educational Authority of Central or State Govt. (or) Candidates should possess such academic qualifications which are considered as equivalent to such 10+2 course by the Bar Council of India, with a minimum of 45% marks.

Candidates seeking admission under SC/ST category should have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 40% marks.

Candidates who are appearing/have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply, subject to the condition that they should produce the pass certificate and mark list of the qualifying exam at the time of admission.

Age Limit: The applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2016

Qualifying Standards in the Entrance Exam: To qualify in the Entrance Examination, and thereby figure in the rank list, a General/SEBC category applicant should secure a minimum of 10% of the 600 marks in the Entrance Exam whereas a candidate belonging to SC/ST category should get a minimum of 5% of the total marks.

Entrance Exam Scheme

A candidate desirous of joining the Integrated Five Year LL.B Course in any of the Govt. Law Colleges of the State or in Govt. Merit seats in private self-financing law colleges of the State will have to write the Entrance Exam

Admission to the course will be based on the rank of the candidate in this Entrance Exam; the Entrance Exam will be conducted on the date and time as notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Exams

Entrance Exam shall be of three hours duration and will consist of 200 Objective type questions in-(a) General English (65 questions); (b) General Knowledge (65 questions) and (c) Aptitude for Legal Studies (70 questions)

Candidates have to mark their responses in the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Answer sheet given to them. The bubbles in the OMR Answer sheet should be filled up using ball point (blue or black ink) pen only

Admit Card

Candidates registered for the Entrance Examination can download their Admit Cards from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 16th August 2016 onwards; the admit card thus obtained should be brought to the examination hall

How to Apply

Candidates seeking admission to the course have to apply online through the Website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE)

Application Fee for General and SEBC candidates is Rs.600/- and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O. (MS) No.25/05/SCSTDD dated 22.06.2005 is Rs.300/-

The required fee can be remitted by Online Payment or by way of Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn from a Nationalised Bank in favour of "The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations", payable at Thiruvananthapuram

In case of payment by Demand Draft, the original Demand Draft should be sent along with the print out of the application. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded at any cost.
