UGC academic job portal for NET PhD jobs

Question– Is there a UGC academic Job portal dedicated to NET, PhD and SET job Openings in Higher Education Institutes in India. Is It True ? Please give the details

UGC has launched a dedicated academic job portal enabling candidates to register and create their profile online to felicitate employers to search and browse academic profiles of NET Qualified candidates and also to register Job vacancies on this portal to for the candidates to apply for these teaching Job openings.

This move was initiated by HRD Ministry who feels that such a Jobs website would be helpful both tot th Candidates to apply for the jobs  and also to Higher Educational Institutes for an academic job site.

UGC acting chairman Ved Prakash said in a letter to the vice chancellors.”This portal is going to serve the two constituencies namely the job seekers and employers. While it will help students create their academic profile and bring them to the notice of the universities, colleges and other potential employers, it will also enable the employers to post their job vacancies for talent hunt,”

Asking them to popularise the initiative, he requested the universities to consider uploading of job advertising of their universities for academic positions.

The portal will also provide browsing, searching, filtering of academic profiles created by qualified candidates on a number of parameters.

    Sir/Madam, I did not know where to register for “Job Vacancies”/UGC Job Portal. I am M.A.,M.Phil.,Ph.D.,qualified in English Literature from SV University,Tirupathi and M.A., qualified in Sociology from SK University and I have 16 years of teaching experience as Lecturer.But I prefer a teaching and supervising University students. Your kind directions in this regard will be appreciated.

I am M.A.,M.Phil.,Ph.D.,qualified in English Literature from SV University,Tirupathi and also qualified in M.A.,in Sociology from SK University and I have 16 years of teaching experience as Lecturer.But I prefer teaching and supervising University students(I taught M.A., students for 2years as PT staff in a newly sprung-up University and have been teaching the PG students in a Private college even now).
