

JMET 2011 is only a qualifying examination. Candidates have to apply separately to the Institutes of their choice. They are also advised to look up the details provided in the brochure about the programmes available in the participating Institutes. There is no limit to the number of programmes a candidate can apply to, so long as he or she meets the eligibility criteria.

JMET 2011 Application Form has to be submitted ONLINE. ONLINE submission of application can be done by accessing the website of any of the IITs or IISc. There are two modes of applying based on the method of fee payment that you choose.
Programmes & Eligibility
A list of Management Programmes and eligibility criteria to apply for these programmes in individual Institutes are given below. Please refer to pages 19 to 46 for further details. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria listed against the Management School/Department of each Institute can appear for the JMET examination. Check out Complete Details
Students in their final year of qualifying degree course are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, and their continuation in the programme is subject to the completion of all requirements for the qualifying degree and submission of provisional degree certificate on or before the date stipulated by the admitting Institute.

Before applying for JMET 2011, candidates must assure themselves that they are eligible to seek admission to the specific programme they are interested in. The eligiblity criteria for admission to the various management schools are different in various Institutes. For more details, the candidates are required to contact the Institutes to which they are interested in seeking admission.
After qualifying JMET 2011, a candidate has to apply separately to each of the schools / departments of management in various IITs wherein she / he wishes to seek admission.
Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) for candidates seeking admission will be held at the respective Institutes.
