PTU Distance Education MBA
Punjab Technical University is amongst the most opted and popular universities in India. PTU was established in 1997 under the Punjab Technical University Act, 1996, for establishment and incorporation of a University for the advancement of technical education and therefore, development in the state. All degrees awarded by the university are UGC recognized and all colleges are approved by AICTE.

Entrance Exam for Correspondence MBA at PTU
The entrance exam for PTU correspondence MBA is held twice each year in the month of March and September, however the admissions are only conducted in the latter.
MBA Distance Learning from PTU MBA Course Details
The Distance Education Council, DEC, have approved of the PTU DEP which mainly focuses on distance learning aspirants. PTU offers unlimited hours of practical training along with two hours of daily assistance to their enlisted students and also weekend classes for the working professionals.
The course has a minimum time period of TWO years to be completed from the time of admission. Whereas the maximum time period to complete one’s MBA distance learning program from PTU is FOUR years.
A candidate can choose from the four basic specializations, namely - Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, and Information Technology (IT).
Eligibility for PTU distance learning MBA
- Applicant should be a graduate from a recognized university/college. Work experience is not mandatory for application or selection.
- Should qualify the entrance exam conducted by PTU for correspondence MBA. As mentioned before, the entrance exam MBA is held twice each year in the month of March and September, however the admissions are only conducted in the latter.
Fees for PTU’s Distance Learning MBA program
The program which is a two year course costs almost Rs. 12, 000 per semester. Maximum time that a candidate can take to finish the program is four years
