MAT Exam 2020 December – All India Management Association (AIMA) invites applications for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2020. The notification for Management Aptitude Test (December) 2020 has been released.

The Management Aptitude Test is conducted for the candidates who want to take admission in MBA and Allied Programs in B-Schools.  AIMA MAT 2020 December session application form is available now on the official website.

About of the MAT

  • Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs.
  • Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School – national or international – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT Exam 2020 will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.

Information to Candidates for December 2020 MAT

  • Please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, conduct of MAT Dec 2020 in PBT mode is subject to prevailing situation and applicable Govt. Guidelines. In case the test cannot be administered on the scheduled test date i.e., 6th Dec 2020 at any of the centers, the registration of those candidates will be automatically carried forward to the forthcoming MAT to be scheduled in Feb 2021 or later.

MAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in MAT December 2020 must fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for it. In case you clear the exam but are not eligible then you will not be able to take the final admission in the MAT associate college.

Academic Qualification

Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply for MAT 2020. The Final year students of Graduate Courses are eligible to apply.

Minimum Aggregate Marks

The marks are according to the rule’s guidelines of the individual’s colleges.

Age Limit

There is no age limit to take the examination

How to Apply for MAT Exam 2020 – Application Process

  • Candidates can choose any one of the following modes to apply. Register online at website link: https://mat.aima.in/dec20/ with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card). Payment Detailed procedure is given on the website link Or;
  • Register online at website link: https://mat.aima.in/dec20/ with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI and Paytm wallet. The fees details are given below:

For Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)

Mode of Test (How to take the Test)

Candidate can take MAT as

(i)

Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or

 (ii)

Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or

(iii)

Paper Based Test (PBT) or

(iv)

Paper Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (PBT+IBT)

Note:

  • Candidates can opt for 2 IBT tests or PBT+IBT by paying an extra fee of rupees symbol1100/- in addition to rupees symbol1650/-.
  • Candidates opting for 2 IBTs or PBT+IBT will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to the existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.

Mode of MAT Exam 2020

i.

The exam takes place in IBT, PBT & CBT Mode.

ii.

The medium of the examination is English.

iii.

Marking Scheme for Management Aptitude Test

iv.

There is one mark for each correct answer.

v.

0.25 marks deduction for each incorrect answer.

*If the number of candidates registered for the Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed in December 2020 itself.

MAT 2020 Admit Card

  • All provisionally registered candidates for IBT have to download their Admit Card from AIMA website https://mat.aima.in as per the schedule given above.
  • Admit Card contains Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the admit card.

Registration Form Acknowledgement

  • All Forms received at AIMA are scanned / validated within 5 days and the Form Numbers of such received forms will be available on the website link: https://mat.aima.in/dec20/. Further, your form is scrutinized and if found in order; it is provisionally registered.
  • MAT Registration Form received later than the due date is liable to be rejected. Neither any correspondence in this regard will be entertained nor will the fee to be refunded.

Result

  • Candidates have to download the MAT Score from AIMA website https://www.aima.in.
