Exam date for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TN TET) 2021 announced
Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) of Tamil Nadu has released the Exam Schedule for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TN TET) 2021on its official website. As per the exam schedule released, TN TET 2021 exam will be held on August 27, 2021. Interested Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the TRB will be able to apply online from March 31, 2021. The last date to apply for the examination is April 21, 2021.
The TNTET 2021 examination fee for the general category candidates is INR 500 and for candidates belonging to reserved category (i.e. SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability) will have to pay an examination fee of INR 250.
TN TET 2021 exam will be conducted for two papers – Paper I for classes I – V and Paper 2 for classes VI-VIII. The Paper-I comprises 5 sections and each section carries 30 questions. Paper-I will have 150 Multiple Choice Questions and the total time duration is 180 minutes. The paper-II comprises 4 sections in which 3 sections carry 30 questions and 1 section carries 60 questions. The paper-II will have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and the total exam duration is 180 minutes.
Candidates who qualify the test will be eligible for Primary and Upper Primary Level teacher posts in the state of Tamil Nadu. TNTET Certificate is valid for 7 years
