Council of Architecture postponed National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2020

The Council of Architecture has released the notification for the postponement of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2020. As per the notification the First online exams which were scheduled to be conducted on August 1, 2020 has been postponed and will now be conducted on August 29, 2020. The date for the second exam will be announced later

The official statement read – “In view of the prevalent situation in the country arising out of pandemic Coronavirus (COVID-19), the competent authority of the Council of Architecture has decided to postpone the ensuing First Test of NATA 2020 examination scheduled for August 01, 2020.” 

NATA 2020 Parts A (Drawing test) and B (Test on Scientific Ability & General Aptitude) will be conducted as an online aptitude test.  Part A (Drawing Test) will not be a paper based drawing test but a preferential choice type test which is to be answered on computer/laptop.

The council has also provided the candidates with an option to appear for the aptitude test from their respective residences or from council-allotted NATA exam centres in case they do not have net connectivity or technical/hardware resources such as PC, laptop, web cam etc

The revised NATA brochure with revised dates and other important instruction, schedule, technical specifications, and details regarding new Registrations for NATA 2020 will be soon uploaded on the website of the Council coa.gov.in.
