Exam Date and City for Indian Coast Guard Navik/ Yanktri Recruitment 2021 released

Indian Navy has released the exam date and city Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021 for Navik/ Yantrik posts. Candidates who have applied for the Indian Coast Guard written exam can visit the official website: joinindiancoastguard.gov.in to check the details. Candidates would be able to see the exam date, city and other relevant details from their candidate’s login.

Indian Coast Guard will conduct the computer based exam for the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) Posts. The call letter for the same will be available three days prior to the examination.

India navy has announced to fill 358 vacancies of Navik and Yantrik under various departments through this recruitment drive

The selection of recruits is based on an all India order of merit on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV.

Stage-I – Written Examination

It is compulsory for a candidate to pass each section separately in order to qualify for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021. The exam will be objective type, and there will be no negative marking.

Stage-II – Based on the performance in the Computer Based Online Examination, a merit list will be prepared and e-admit card for stage II  (Physical Fitness Test) will be issued as per the vacancies available and ratio decided by ICG. The duration of Stage-II is 1 to 2 days.

Stage-III – Based on the performance in Stage-I & Stage-II, an all India merit list will be prepared and e-admit card for stage-III (final medicals at INS Chilka) will be issued as per the vacancies available and ratio decided by ICG. The duration of Stage-III is 1 to 2 days.

Stage-IV: The candidates are to submit all the original documents and verification of all original documents through boards/universities/state government will be carried out by Indian Coast Guard

Selected candidates will be sent to basic training for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik will commence in August 2021 and Navik (Domestic Branch) in October 2021 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade.
