The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has once again postponed the exam dates for the UP Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE) 2020. As per the notification the entrance exam will now be held on July 19, 2020 for Group A (morning Shift) & E (afternoon shift) and on July 25, 2020 for group B, C, D, F, G, H and I (morning Shift) and group K1 to K8 (afternoon shift)
This is the third time the exam has been postponed. UPJEE 2020 was first scheduled to be held on April 26, 2020. Then it was postponed to be held on May 31. JEECUP again postponed it for June 14 and 15, 2020. Now it has been rescheduled to be held on July 19 and 25, 2020.
Further, the examination council has also provide the facility to edit the online application and to select the exam center from May 21 to 25, 2020 at the official website, jeecup.nic.in
The official notice reads – “Candidates can pre-select their exam center so that there is no difficulty in reaching the examination center.” This facility has been provided due to the coronavirus pandemic.
UPJEE is conducted for admissions to Diploma/Post Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering, Technology and Management Programs in Polytechnic Institutions affiliated to Board of Technical Education UP.
