UGC launched online platform ‘Shodh Chakra’ to help research Scholars 

 
UGC launches ‘Shodh Chakra’ to assist and help researchers – UGC has launched a new initiative to help research scholars and their supervisors in the field of conducting their research work. They have named this new initiative as ‘Shodh Chakra’. ‘Shodh Chakra’ has been launched along with the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre, which is supposed to assist the research scholars to collect, organise, store and cite their research work, thus making more time to focus on the research activities. 
 
According to the UGC chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar, the objective behind launching ‘Shodh Chakra’ is to provide the researchers with an online platform to manage and track their whole research-cycle, starting from reviewing to submission of the research work. Researchers can start using the platform by visiting schakrabeta.inflibnet.ac.in .
 
Having 3.5 lakh full-text thesis, and millions of articles from Google scholar, ‘Shodh Chakra’ is power-packed with facilities like virtual library, data storage, dashboards, administrative monitoring and a lot more, to help the institutes to track the progress of the ongoing research work. UGC chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar has said that they will soon be coding various workshops for the users, to get well-equipped with the platform.
