NTA Notification Reporting Time for Abroad Candidates for JEE Mains 2019 April Exam

NTA Notice for JEE Main 2019 Abroad Candidates – National Test Agency (NTA) has release a Public Notice for the Aboard Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2019 April Exam. The notification was released after some candidates appearing for JEE Main 2019 in January reached exam centers according to their local time. In the notification NTA said that during the exam of JEE Main happened in the month of January, it was observed that some candidates from abroad reported as per the local timings at the examination center. Whereas, candidates appearing for the examination were supposed to report at the venue as per the Indian Standard Time (IST), which was mentioned on the JEE Main Admit Card 2019. As a result of that, such candidates could not be able to appear in the JEE Main examination.

 

In order to avoid such situation in JEE Main 2019 April exam, NTA released the notification to inform the abroad candidates about the reporting time for the Examination.

 

The NTA notice reads, “the Candidates appearing in the JEE(Main) April 2019 in the Cities Abroad are hereby once again advised to report at their Examination Centers well in advance as per Indian Standard Time(IST) as mentioned in Admit Card.”

 

Candidates without having the admit card will not be allowed to sit in the examination. The JEE Main exam April 2019, will be conducted from April 7th to 12th, 2019.

 

Candidates are advice to check the following details on JEE Main Admit Card 2019

  • The reporting time at the test center.
  • The gate closing time of test center.
  • The examination date.
  • Shift and Timings of the test.
  • Venue of the test.

 

About any disparity or discrepancy on the Admit Card, NTA has notified that students should immediately inform National Test Agency (NTA) so that they can take action before time and the corrected admit card is issued to the aspirant within the stipulated time. Moreover, a candidate can send an e-mail to the [email protected], in case he/she is not able to download the e-admit card.
