NIT Raipur postponed NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic

The National Institute of Technology Raipur (NIT Raipur) has postponed the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2021 exams due to the rapidly rising cases of COVID-19 in the country. NIMCET 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on May 23, 2021. The new exam date is yet to be announced. As per the official notification, students will be informed 15 days before the exams begin. All the exam-related activities such as choice filling, counselling, admission etc has also been postponed until further notice.

NIT Raipur official notification reads, “Due to the prevailing situation of the pandemic and also taking into account the safety and well-being of the candidates and examination functionaries, the date of NIMCET-2021 examination and its related activities i.e. date of choice filling, counselling, admission etc are hereby postponed till further notice.” 

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) is the national level entrance test in India for admission to Master of Computer Applications Courses in 11 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), University of Hyderabad, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and in Harcourt Butler Technical University.
