IGNOU Postpones December 2021 Term End Examination due to COVID
Indira Gandhi National Open University has released a notification to inform about the postponement of IGNOU December 2021 Term End Exam due to increase in COVID cases. the new dates will be announced later, at least 15 days before the commencement of the exam.
As per the notification released by the varsity, the decision was taken considering a surge in Omicron cases countrywide that has also led to weekend curfew in multiple states. to a surge in Covid cases across the country
The December 2021 term-end examinations were scheduled to begin from January 20 to February 23, 2022 for final year students of Bachelor’s Master’s, Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programs.
Apart from this, IGNOU has also extended the deadline for submission of project reports/internship/ fieldwork journal/dissertation, etc. for December 2021Term-end Examination till January 15, 2022. Earlier, the assignment submission date was till December 15, 2021, which has been extended till January 15 this year. Candidates can submit their assignments through email or offline by physical submission at study centers. Project reports and other components can be submitted online through online software link available at the homepage of the University’s website.
