IIPM Bengaluru PGDM-FPBM Joint Academic Program 2019 – Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), Bengaluru & University of Wisconsin Madison, WI-USA, invites application for admission announcement Joint Academic Program on Post Graduate Diploma in Management Food Processing & Business Management (PGDM-FPBM) – Approved by AICTE, New Delhi commencing from July 2019

The Institute

  • IIPM Centre of excellence and the first-of-its-kind national Institute, was established at the initiative of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India
  • The institute is co-promoted by the Commodity Boards of India, viz. Coffee Board, Tea Board, Rubber Board & Spices Board and Industry & Plantation Associations

AIM

  • Food processing is one of the largest sectors in India which has huge potential in terms of production, growth, consumption and exports
  • Currently, new markets for processed and value added products are developing at the national and international level

Duration

  • 24 months full time program jointly with University of Wisconsin-Madison, commencing from July 2019

Pedagogy

  • Every course addresses theoretical approaches, analytical methods and industry practices unique to the food industry. The classroom sessions are supplemented with lecture, video, seminars, group work, role-play, tasting & marketing, field & industrial visits and guest lectures.
  • As part of AACSB norms the institute ensures the Assurance of Learning (AoL) with the best standard practices.

Eligibility Criteria for IIPM Bengaluru PGDM-FPBM Joint Academic Program 2019

  • The minimum qualification for admission is a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC, ST and Persons with Disability) in food technology, food science/ nutrition, fisheries, dairy, animal husbandry, horticulture or allied disciplines
  • The candidates must have a valid score of CAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GATE exam

Selection Procedure for  IIPM Bengaluru PGDM-FPBM Joint Academic Program 2019

  • Candidates must have a valid score of CAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT exam. Selection will be on the basis of academic record, test scores, writing skill, group discussion and personal interview

Reservation

  • The Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates is applicable as per the Govt. of India rules, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria for admission

  • For Prospectus and Application form, write to the Admissions Office along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates with relevant certificates, drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Plantation Management” payable at Bengaluru
  • Application form can also be downloaded from Institute’s website www.iipmb.edu.in and filled-in application along with fee may be sent to Admission Office, Indian Institute of Plantation Management Bengaluru (IIPMB), Jnana Bharathi Campus, P. O. Malathalli, Bengaluru-560056 (India)
