Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army TGC 132 | ||||
Nationality | Only Male Candidates who are from the Engineering Background are eligible to apply OR (i) A citizen of India, or (ii) A subject of Bhutan, or (iii) A subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of settling down in India. | |||

How to Apply for Indian Army TGC 132 – Application Process | ||||
Applications will only be accepted online on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Click on “Officer Entry Apply/Login” and then click ‘Registration’. Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully. | ||||
Applicants may apply online at Indian Army’s website (www.joinindianarmy.nic.in) from 28th July 2020 at 12:00 AM to 26th August 2020 till 12:00 AM | ||||
1. | Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’. Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully. | |||
2. | After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under the Dashboard. A page ‘Officers Selection – Eligibility’ will be opened. | |||
3. | Click on ‘Apply’ shown against the Technical Graduate Course. A page ‘Application Form’ will open. | |||
4. | Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill details as required under various segments. Personal information, Communication details, Education details and details of previous SSB. | |||
5. | ‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next segment. | |||
6. | After filling details on the last segment, you will move to a page ‘Summary of your information’ wherein you can check and edit the entries already made. | |||
7. | Then click on ‘Submit Now’ only after carefully ascertaining that the correct details have been filled in. Candidates must click ‘Submit Now’ each time they open the application for editing. | |||
8. | The candidates are required to take out two copies of their application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after final closure of online application. | |||
Indian Army TGC 132 Selection Procedure | ||||
The selection procedure is as follows: | ||||
Shortlisting of Candidates | Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in Engineering discipline/stream (cumulatively obtained up to 6th semester for Engg Degree course/ 2nd semester for M Sc. Computer science/ 8th semester for Architecture). | |||
SSB Interview | Shortlisted candidates, depending on the cutoff percentage, will be called for an interview at one of the Selection Centres viz. Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer. Call Up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centres through candidate’s registered e-mail id and SMS only | |||
Medical Exam | Candidates who shall clear stage I and stage II of SSB interview will appear for medical examination. | |||
Joining Letter | Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be issued a Joining Letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria. | |||
Physical Standard | ||||
Height & Weight | Minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight. To pass fit, an applicant must be in good physical and mental health free from any disability. | |||

As such there is no way now to apply since last date is missed by you, but you don’t need to wait for long since it happens twice in a year.
Once in May/Jun and Nov/Dec so you need to wait till May
Tentative dates for SSB interviews will be Oct-Nov & Apr-May respectively.If you are interested then you can also apply for UES which is specially for engineers.

Hello Sir, I am final year student of B.Tech. I read the official advertisement of 122 TGC and 46 SSC(T) , in the given advertisement it was written that ” Candidate should produce certificate from head of institution stating that candidate is in final year and final exams will be over by 1 Jan 2016 for TGC and by 1 April 2016 for SSC(T). So, i want to ask that how can exams be over before 1 Jan in any university because exams of final year/8th semester will be held in June of 2016. Kindly share your views.
