ISPs can be organized in various forms, such as community-owned, non-profit, commercial, or otherwise privately owned. Internet services typically provided by Internet Service Providers include Internet access, domain name registration, Internet transit, web hosting, Usenet service, and collocation.

In this method, the user’s computer is connected to a modem with a telephone line. Due to slow connection speed, this method has become outdated and new methods like Wireless Broadband, Wi-Fi Internet, ISDN, and Ethernet have come into existence.
