IIT Kharagpur announced JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Date
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, the organizing institute of JEE (Advanced) 2021 has announced the JEE Advanced 2021. As per the notification, JEE Advanced 2021 will now be held on October 3, 2021. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on July 3, 2021, but was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates can check the official notice on the official site of JEE Advanced on jeeadv.ac.in.
IIT Kharagpur has already released the information brochure of JEE Advanced 2021 on the official website. The JEE Advanced will be computer based (CBT). The examination will comprise of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. Both the papers are of three hours duration.
JEE Advanced is conducted for admission to Bachelor’s, Integrated Masters and Dual Degree Programs in Engineering, Sciences, or Architecture offered by 23 IITs.
Top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualify the JEE Main examination are eligible to apply for JEE advanced examination. Applicants who could not take JEE Advanced 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic will get a chance to reappear in JEE Advanced 2021 directly, without having to take the JEE Main 2021 exam.
