Note: B.Sc. Engineering (4-year course) also can apply at par with B.E./B.Tech. Applicants having any other degree/combination degree, example Production Engg. Automobile Engg. Mechatronics, Construction Engg. etc. other than those specifically mentioned above are not eligible to apply

Age Limit
Upper Age limit is 28 years for unreserved applicants as on 18th November 2017. There is age relaxation for SC/ST of 5 years, OBC (Non-creamy layer) of 3 years. Refer notification for details
Emoluments & Probation
Selected applicants will be placed on probation as per Company Rules in E1 grade. The chosen applicants through GATE Score 2017 shall be offered annual CTC of Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs)
The annual CTC covers HRA, basic pay, other allowances Provident Fund, Gratuity and variable pay (performance linked). The other benefits shall be applicable to the respective grade as per Company Rule
Selection Process
The short-listing of applicants will be done based on the marks obtained in the GATE 2017 examination. GATE-2016 Scorecard is not valid. The applicants will be called for personal interview in the ratio of 1:5 (i.e., 1 Post: 5 applicants, as per the reservation of posts).
In case multiple applicants have same GATE marks, then the applicant who has got higher marks in the Base qualification will be considered for further selection process.
Final merit list of applicants shall be prepared by giving weightage to GATE-2017 score and score obtained by the applicants in the Personal Interview. 85% weightage shall be given to GATE score and 15% weightage will be given for Personal Interview
Application Fees
Applicants belonging to General/OBC class (including non-creamy layer) has to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only)
SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-Serviceman/ classes and regular employees of OMPL are exempted from payment of Application Fee
