Jhunjhunu Sainik School Entrance Exam 2020-21 for Class VI

Sainik School Jhunjhunu Admission 2020 – Sainik School Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) applications are invited in the prescribed forms for admission to Class VI for the next academic year 2020-21.

Admission is subject to qualifying in the All India Entrance Examination followed by Interviews, Physical Fitness and Medical Examination conducted by this institution.

  • The primary aim of the School is to prepare boys academically, physically and psychological for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other professions

Reservation

  • 15% & 7½% seats of total available seats are reserved for candidates of Schedule Cast (SC) and Schedule Tribes (ST) respectively. Out of remaining seats, 67% seats available for candidates belongs to Rajasthan (Home State Quota) & 33% seats will be available for Candidates belongs to other state (Other State Quota). 25% seats out of home state & other state, are reserved for children of Defence personnel & Ex-Servicemen

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Boys born between 01st April 2008 and 31st March 2010 are eligible for Class-VI (both dates included)
  • Curriculum: 10+2 System of CBSE

 

Selection Procedure

  • Written Examination, Interview & Medical Examination

 

Scheme of Written Exam

  • Admission to Class-VI through AISSEE to be held on 05th January 2019 (Sunday). The AISSEE will be an OMR based exam which will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with four options.

 

Medium of Examination

  • Question papers of All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and examination will be OMR based Question papers with multiple choice questions.

 

Scholarships

  • Merit, Income based and Defence Scholarships are available to eligible students. The Social Welfare & Tribal Welfare Departments, Govt. of A.P. awards scholarships to SC / ST boys of eligible parents based on their income, as per the rates in vogue
  • All such scholarships are subject to adequate and timely release of funds from respective State Governments. Only one scholarship can be enjoyed by a student at any given time
