AIIMS Raipur Nurse Recruitment 2017 – 75 Nursing Sisters and 400 Sister Grade II Posts
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur has released a notification on its official website for the recruitment of 475 Staff Nurse Grade-I (Nursing Sisters) and Staff Nurse Grade-II (Sister Grade-II) vacancies
The recruitment of candidates will be done under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) on direct recruitment basis

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess B.Sc. (Nursing) (4 year course) from a recognized Institute/University (or); Candidates should possess B.Sc. (Post-certificate) or equivalent such as B.Sc. Nursing (Post-basic) (2 year course) from a recognised Institute/University
Should be registered with the Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council
Experience: Three years of experience as Staff Nurse Grade-II in a minimum 100 bedded hospital/ healthcare Institute
Desirable: Ability to use computers – Hands on experience in office applications, spreadsheets and presentations
Age Limit
Staff Nurse Grade-I: Candidates should have age between 21 years to 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.
Staff Nurse Grade-II: Candidates should have age between 21 years to 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.
The Crucial Date for determining the possession of ‘Age and Essential Qualification (EQs)/Experience’ will be the closing date for filling up Registration Part/Application part of the application i.e. 31st July 2017
Age Relaxation
Relaxation in age will be as per Govt. of India rules. Relaxation in upper age limit is admissible only when the applicant claims the same in the online application form and also properly fill the CATEGORY CODE. Relaxation in upper age limit is admissible to eligible categories of applicants as under:
Age Relaxation permissible beyond the Upper age limit
1. SC/ST – 5 years
2. OBC – 3 years
3. PH – 10 years
4. PH + OBC – 13 years
5. PH + SC/ST – 15 years
Selection Procedure
Normally, all the candidates whose application forms are accepted will be called for the computer-based examination. However, if deemed necessary, the competent authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates for the examination by duly appointed search-cum-selection committee as per the criteria fixed.
While shortlisting the candidates on the basis of marks scored at Graduation level, AIIMS, Raipur will follow the yardstick adopted by the university/institution and take into account the percentage of marks as indicated in the final year marks statement
Scheme of Exam
The recruitment exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English, and candidates will have 90 minutes to answer 100 multiple-choice questions
Candidates will also be required to appear for a skill test, the scheme of which will be uploaded on the website of the institute
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Skill test will be held only for such candidates who meet the cut off prescribed by AIIMS Raipur in the computer-based exam
Final merit list will be drawn on the basis of performance in computer-based exam and skill test. The syllabus is listed in the notification.
Pay Scale
The AIIMS offers a pay scale to its employees according to the post they are recruited in. Basic pay scale in Nurse Jobs is given below:
Staff Nurse Grade-I – Rs.9300 – 34800/- With 4800/- Grade Pay
Staff Nurse Grade-II (Sister Grade-II) – Rs.9300 – 34800/- With 4600/- Grade Pay
Application Fee
The candidates should pay Rs.1000/- for General/ OBC/Ex serviceman candidates. There is no Fee for SC/ST/Person with Disabilities.
Application Procedure
The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application only through ONLINE mode. The Online registration of applications will be available only on AIIMS Raipur website www.aiimsraipur.edu.in from 15th June 2017 (11:00 AM) to 31st July 2017 up-to 05.00 PM
Applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the aforesaid post and must fulfil all the eligibility criteria on or before 31st July 2017, failing which their application will be rejected
Candidature of applicants shall be purely PROVISIONAL at all stages of the recruitment process
Candidates must fill in the online application form as per the procedure given in Para 6 of this Notice and take a printout of the same for submission at the time of verification of documents
