Eligibility Details

  • As per the recent Bank of Baroda (BOB) notification 2018, the eligibility details for the Specialist Officers job has given below
  • Nationality/Citizenship: (as on 01st April 2018)
  • A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01st Jan. 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda,the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • Educational Qualification
  • Candidates are requested to check their education qualification required for various Bank of Baroda (BOB) job opportunities.
  • MSME-Sales/Relationship Management (Scale SMG/SIV)
  • CA/ ICWA/MBA or PGDM (with specialization in Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma from any AICTE approved institute. Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in Credit client acquisition/ relationship management with - a) A Scheduled Commercial Bank / associate / subsidiary of Scheduled Commercial Bank (SCB) or b) Public or private sector financial institution/NBFCs/ reputed rating agencies with 5 years of active history
  • MSME-Sales/Relationship Management (Scale MMG/SIII)
  • CA/ ICWA/MBA or PGDM (with specialization in Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma from any AICTE approved institute. Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in Credit client acquisition/ Relationship management with - a) A Scheduled Commercial Bank / associate / subsidiary of scheduled commercial Bank (SCB) or b) Public or private sector financial institution/NBFCs/ reputed rating agencies with 5 years of active history
  • MSME Monitoring/ Processing of Loans (Scale SMG/SIV)
  • CA/ICWA/MBA or PGDM (with specialization in Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma from any AICTE approved institute. Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience as Credit analyst or equivalent role in - a) A Scheduled Commercial Bank / associate / subsidiary of Scheduled Commercial Bank (SCB) or b) Public or private sector financial institution/NBFCs/ reputed rating agencies with 5 years of active history And Out of above 6 years of experience, minimum 4 years-experience in corporate/ MSME credit
  • MSME Monitoring/ Processing of Loans (Scale MMG/S III)
  • CA/ICWA/MBA or PGDM (with specialization in Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma from any AICTE approved institute. Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience as Credit analyst or equivalent role in - a) A Scheduled Commercial Bank / associate / subsidiary of Scheduled Commercial Bank (SCB)or b) Public or private sector financial institution/NBFCs/ reputed rating agencies with 5 years of active history And Out of above 4 years of experience, minimum 2 years-experience in corporate/ MSME credit
  • Finance / Credit (Scale MMG/SIII)
  • CA/ICWA/MBA or PGDM (with specialization in Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma from any AICTE approved institute. Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in Processing/Appraisal of Corporate Credit (Experience of working in Credit Dept. in large Banks will be preferable). For candidates with CA qualification, the Post-qualification experience shall be relaxed to 3 years
  • Finance / Credit (Scale MMG/SII
  • PGDM (with specialization in Finance) or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma from any AICTE approved institute Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Processing/Appraisal of Corporate Credit (Experience of working in Credit Dept. in large Banks will be preferable)

 

Age Limit

  • For General category candidates the age criteria is mentioned below: (Age shall be reckoned as on 01st April 2018)
  • For Post 1, 3 - 28 to 40 Years
  • For Post 2, 4, 5 - 25 to 37 Years
  • For Post 6 - 25 to 35 Years

Age Relaxations

  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC: 3 Years
  • Persons with Disabilities: 10 Years
  • SC/ST PWD: 15 Years
  • OBC PWD: 13 Years

 

Minimum Age Criteria

  • For post code 02 ,04, 05 & 06: a candidate must have been born not later than 01.04.1993
  • For post code 01 & 03: a candidate must have been born not later than 01.04.1990

 

Maximum Age Criteria

  • For post code 02 ,04, & 05: a candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.04.1981
  • For post code 01 & 03: a candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.04.1978
  • For post code 06: a candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.04.1983

Pay Scale

  • Selected candidates will get monthly pay as per given below
  • MMG/S II - 31705 x 1145 (1) - 32850 x 1310(10) - 45950
  • MMG/S III - 42020 x 1310 (5) - 48570 x 1460 (2) - 51490
  • SMG/S IV - 50030 x 1460 (4) - 55870 x 1650 (2) – 59170
  • All perks and benefits like quarters facility, in lieu of HRA, for Officers; Conveyance; Medical Aid; LTC; etc., admissible as per rules of the Bank, in force from time to time are approximately Rs.81000/-, Rs.100000/-, and Rs.121000/- per month, respectively in a Metropolitan Centre

  • Bank may also at its discretion, consider conducting of Psychometric Test / Group Discussion for different scales

 

Application Fee

  • Application Fee is Rs.600/- for General category candidates; 100/- for Reserved Category candidates
  • Candidates have the option of remitting fees via ONLINE MODE only, where the application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions
  • The Payment can be made using only Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen

 

Application Process

  • Candidates are required to apply Online through website www.bankofbaroda.co.in. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
  • Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID and Contact No. It should be kept active till completion of this recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for Online test, GD, interview etc. through the registered email ID
  • In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying Online. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person
  • iii. Candidates should scan their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph (4.5cmX3.5cm) and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure I to this Advertisement
  • Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted
