Exam Scheme of UPSC Geologist Examination
The UPSC Geologist exam comprises of a Written Examination followed by and Intelligence and Personality Test. In UPSC Geologist Examination there are four papers. The first paper comprises of General English remaining three papers are based on various subjects associated to Geology

Interview for Personality Test of selected candidates will carry a maximum of 200 marks.
Things you must know about UPSC Geologist Examination
- The papers in all the subjects will be of Conventional (essay) type only.
- All question papers must be answered in English. The questions papers will be set in English only.
- Commission has discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination.
