IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission 2022 – International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bangalore invites applications from Indian candidates for admission to two-year, full-time, interdisciplinary, Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Digital Society for the academic year 2022.

- Admissions Open : 15th March 2022
- Last date for submitting online applications : 15th May 2022
- Written test will be conducted online for candidates without a valid score in CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022 or TISS NET 2022 : 04th June 2022
- Personal interviews through video calling application for shortlisted candidates with a valid score from IIITB Entrance exam or from any of the following examination: CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022 or TISS NET 2022 : 5th-6th June 2022
- Release of first list of selected candidates (additional lists may be released if required) : 15th June 2022
- Offer acceptance and payment of fees: As noted in the offer letter
- Registrations for the new batch at the IIIT Bangalore campus : 8th July 2022
- Program orientation sessions : 11th July – 30th July 2022
- Semester 1 classes begin : 1st August 2022
IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022
- An undergraduate degree (of at least 3 years duration) in any discipline (including arts, science, commerce, design, management, law, engineering, etc.) with a first division/class from a recognized University. Those expecting to graduate by 1st August 2022 may also apply.
- The candidates who have a valid score in CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022, or TISSNET 2022 may be exempted from appearing for a written test at IIIT Bangalore.
- Working professionals are also encouraged to apply.
IIIT Bangalore M.Sc in Digital Society Admission Application Process 2022
- Eligible Candidates can apply online through the official website https://www.iiitb.ac.in/
- Candidates are requested to visit https://www.iiitb.ac.in/courses/master-of-science-digital-society for the online application form and other relevant guidelines will be made available on the IIIT Bangalore website by 15th March 2022.
- The candidates are desirous to seek admission to be required to apply online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
Application Fee
- Application Fee : Rs. 1000/-
- Mode of Payment : Online through debit card/credit card/net banking
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on performance in the interview, scores in the written test (or, in one of the four national level entrance tests mentioned below), and marks obtained in 10th, 12th and Undergraduate/Bachelor’s examinations.
- The candidates who have a valid score in CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022 or TISS NET 2022 may be exempted from appearing for a written test at IIIT Bangalore. However, they will have to appear for the personal interviews, which will be conducted online.
Exam pattern
- The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
- The online proctored entrance exam will have four sections.
- Numerical Ability (20 MCQs)
- Analytical Ability (20 MCQs)
- Design Awareness (20MCQs)
- IT and Social Awareness and Written Communication: 1 Essay (No more than 700 words)
- The candidates who have a valid score in CAT 2021, CEED 2022, CUCET 2022 or TISS NET 2022 may be exempted from appearing for a written test at IIIT Bangalore.
