PG DIPLOMA COURSES IN INSURANCE
IIRM (Institute of Insurance and Risk Management), an International Institution set up jointly by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), and the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, invites applications for admission to its International Post Graduate Diploma Courses (IPGD).
IIRM offers one year campus learning programmes in Insurance, Risk Management and one year three months programme in Actuarial Sciences
One year diploma (Insurance and Risk Management)
International Post Graduate Diploma in (Life Insurance, General Insurance, Risk Management)
One year 3 months diploma (Actuarial Sciences)
Post Graduate diploma in Actuarial Science
IPGD Life insurance, general insurance and risk management programmes are accredited for maximum of 7 subjects by chartered insurance institute, (CII), London- global qualification
IRDA-the insurance regulator, recognized IPGD programme (Life Insurance/General Insurance and Risk Management) of IIRM, to be on par with Fellowship of III, Mumbai, as suitable qualification for entry to the insurance sector
IIRM’s Actuarial Sciences programme has been recognized by the Society of Actuaries (SOA), Illinois, USA and they have offered VEE credits for 3 subjects (Finance and Financial reporting, Statistical methods and Economics)
One month internship
IPGD programme in distance learning mode for working professionals is also available, with accreditation as above
Enrollment procedure
Graduates or Post Graduates of any discipline with a second class pass (an overall 50% of pass marks) and with Mathematics or Statistics or Econometrics or Actuarial Subjects as one of the subjects in which a minimum of 60% marks is essential, are eligible to apply
Age: Below 30 years as on 1st July of the academic year when the course commences for on campus students only
This condition is not applicable for students seeking partial enrollment
The applicant can be either an individual or sponsored by their Employers/Companies/Organizations
Applicants will be selected as students through a personal interview to assess the suitability of the applicants for the course
The interviewing committee’s decision will be final and not open for any kind of review what so ever
All selected students into the course will make their own arrangements for seeking student membership of any professional actuarial institutes either in India or abroad and IIRM has no role to play in the matter
Similar eligibility conditions enumerated above are applicable to partial enrollment students also

Non refundable registration fees Rs 1000/- plus 10.3% service tax and course fees Rs 5,25,000/- plus service tax as applicable
Separate fee structure will be followed for special/partial enrollments
Accreditation: Society of Actuaries (SOA), USA, offers VEE credits to 3 subjects for the diploma holders of the course
