Eligibility Criteria for WB JEHOM 2020

Citizenship

Applicants must be citizens of India.

Age Limit

Not less than 17 years as on 31st December 2020.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must qualify and obtain a rank in JEHOM 2020

Candidates must have passed in 10+2 level exam in regular mode from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or from any other equivalent board and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate in 10+2 level exam.

Important information to candidates regarding eligibility

(i)

WBJEEB does neither verify the information provided by the candidate during online application nor verify any certificate of date of birth, domicile, income, reservation category, academic qualification etc. for deciding the eligibility of the candidate.

(ii)

Admit cards issued only on the basis of the information provided by the candidate. Also there is no scope of changing/correcting any information after the last date of online application

(iii)

All verifications are done during counselling/admission by concerned authorities and finally by the concerned university, where registration will be done.

(iv)

If at any stage after exam it is found on scrutiny that the applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature shall be treated as cancelled even if he/she secured a Merit Rank in the JEHOM-2020.

 

 

 

 

Reservation

All the three concerned institutes taking admission in Hotel Management and Catering Technology through JEHOM-2020 being private self-financed institutes, reservation of seats is not applicable at this time.

WB JEHOM 2020 Application Process

The candidates can fill the application for WBJEEB JEHOM 2020 online only. The board starts the JEHOM registration on the official website www.wbjeeb.in.

The application procedure involves various steps.

Registration

The candidates are required to register in order to process the   filling of application form. Enter the necessary details and complete the registration process.

Application Form

Sign in using the credentials sent. Candidates need to fill their personal details like domicile, category, PwD status, home district, family income status, religion, nationality, etc. Furthermore, they have to choose any two zones of exams.

Upload Image

The next step is to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature

Application Fee Payment

After uploading the images, as a last step, candidates have to pay Rs 500 plus Bank’s Service Charges as application fee. You can pay it using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card only. Also, note that the fee is non-refundable.

Confirmation Page

On completion of all the steps, a candidate redirects to download the “Confirmation Page”. Hence, it shows that your application is complete.
