Sainik School Kodagu Admission 2023 for Class VI and IX – Sainik School Kodagu, invites application from eligible candidates for admission to Class VI and IX standards for the academic session 2023-2024. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI only. Admission will be done on the basis of All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2023.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- For Admission to Class-VI: A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2023 for admission to Class-VI; i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2011 and 31 March 2013 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2023-24.
- For Admission to Class-IX: A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2023 for admission to Class-IX; i.e. he should have been born between 01 April 2008 and 31 March 2010 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2023-24. He should have passed Class-VIII Exam from a Recognised School at the time of admission
- Curriculum – 10+2 System of CBSE (Science Stream)
Seats Reservation
- SC – 15%, ST – 7.5% & Defense 25% (as per existing rules and regulations)

- Offline Prospectus-Cum-Application form can also be obtained from the school (by hand) on submission of Demand Draft in favour Principal, Sainik School Kodagu” payable at Kushalnagar (Karnataka)
- For obtaining prospectus by hand, the purchaser is to produce valid Identity proof viz. Aadhar Card/Voters ID/PAN Card/Driving License

Exam Pattern
- Paper Pencil on OMR Answer Sheets with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for both Classes VI and IX.
- Candidates are advised to check availability of seats and reservation criteria for admission into Sainik School Kodagu in the Information Bulletin published / uploaded in the Website of NTA.
- Admission in Sainik Schools for Classes VI & IX will be only through appearing in Entrance Examination. There is no provision for lateral admission in any other class in Sainik Schools or to change the choice of the School made at the time of applying Online.
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to appear in the AISSEE.

Annual Fees
- Rs. 153,000 including Tuition Fee and messing charges (approximate amount); hike of 10% is likely in subsequent year(s); other miscellaneous expenditure as applicable
