  • Last date of Online Registration : 30.11.2022 upto 4:00 P.M.
  • Last date of submission of hard copy of the application along with other documents : 02.12.2022 upto 2:00 P.M.
  • Downloading of Admit Card from the University website : 19.12.2022 after 5:00 P.M.
  • Date of Entrance Test : 21.12.2022 (Wednesday)(11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.)
  • Publication of Result of Entrance Test and List of Exempted Category in the University website : 23.12.2022 after 5:00 P.M.
  • Date of Viva-Voce Admit Card : 28.12.2022
  • Date of Viva-Voce for both Exempted & those who have qualified for the Entrance Test : 02.01.2023
  • Publication of Final Result : 05.01.2023

 

Eligibility Criteria for Sambalpur University PhD Admission 2022

  • A candidate, who has obtained Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from Sambalpur University or from any other University / Institute recognized by Sambalpur University or such Degree as may be considered equivalent for this purpose by Sambalpur University with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade), shall be eligible
  • However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently-Abled categories and those who obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September 1991 shall be given a relaxation of 5% marks at Master’s Degree level

  • Candidates should download the Prospectus for PhD Courses 2022 and read it carefully before filling up of form online

  • Application fee – Rs. 1000/-
  • Mode of Payment – Through online Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking

 

Admission Procedure

  • Candidates, who have qualified in UGC/CSIR NET Exam, GATE Examination and such Examinations conducted by lCAR, lCMR and other such National Bodies with valid periods. (OR) Selection will be based on the Entrance Test.
