About NIT Warangal
- National Institute of Technology, Warangal (Deemed University), formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. The Institute currently has thirteen academic departments and a few advanced research centers in various disciplines of engineering, pure sciences and management. The Institute offers Ten undergraduate programs (B.Tech.) in engineering, Twenty nine postgraduate programs (M.Tech., M.Sc., MCA and MBA) in engineering, sciences and management and research programmes in engineering, sciences, humanities, physical education and management. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at B.Tech./B.E. for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD category are eligible to apply.

- All the necessary documents are to be uploaded online. The proof of payment of application fee (Rs. 1,600/- for all the applicants) must accompany the application form.

Selection Procedure
- Selection will be based on Written Test/ Interview.
- The written test would be based on the GATE syllabus.
