Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have
- A master’s degree post bachelor’s degree obtained in 10+2+3 pattern with at least 55% marks in the bachelor’s level and 60% in the master’s level; or
- A 5-year integrated master’s degree obtained after completing higher secondary schooling in 10+2 pattern, with at least 55% marks in the bachelor’s level (if explicitly provided) and 60% in the master’s level, or
- A master’s degree post 4 year/8 semesters bachelor’s degree in 10+2+4 pattern, with a CGPA of 6.5 or above or equivalent marks, or
- A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with at least 55% marks in B.Com degree
- In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the respective University/ Institution.
Test Scores and Validity
- IIM Shillong will consider valid scores of GMAT, GRE, CAT (of last 2 years as on date of application), GATE or JRF (NET).
- The following categories of candidates are exempt from standard tests stated above, but will require to produce two reference letters from senior leadership:
- A. Post graduates of PGP programs (2 year fulltime) of IIMs or an Indian Institute/ University that has featured in the top 50 institutes/universities as per the NIRF list released by the Government of India (List of Management Schools, any year) with CGPA 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent, with at least 5 years of post PGP experience, or
- B. Individuals with at least 10 years of rich managerial/work experience from government and non-government sector.

Selection Procedure
